Onslow Ward is a 34-bed specialist unit providing expert and compassionate care for people with cancer. We deliver patient-centred care that manages symptoms, supports our patients through treatment, and focuses on their comfort and quality of life.
As a major referral hospital for cancer care, we care for patients from all across the south east and even nationally, to provide:
Patients benefit from the support of a ward-based consultant oncologist, a palliative care team and specialist healthcare professionals including a physiotherapists, occupational therapists dieticians and nurses.
Working collaboratively, we provide compassionate, round-the-clock care focused on managing symptoms, supporting treatment, and ensuring our patients’ comfort and wellbeing needs are met.
