Hindhead Short Stay Unit

Hindhead Short Stay Unit is a 30-bed unit specialising in the care of older people. The unit cares for patients admitted with an expected length of stay of less than 72 hours. 

Hindhead Ward has achieved the Quality Mark for Elder Friendly Hospital Wards.

The ward environment has been designed to be dementia friendly to support patients living with dementia whilst being in an unfamiliar setting. 

It is staffed by a multidisciplinary team, comprising doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, case managers and social services, with an aim to provide holistic and inclusive care.

East Wing, Level D. When entering the hospital using the main entrance, proceed straight ahead. Continue past reception located on the right of the foyer. Bear right and proceed down to the end of the corridor. Take the East Wing lifts to level D. Hindhead ward is located on left hand side as you exit the lifts.
