Eashing Ward is a thirty bed Older Person Ward in the Division of Access and Medicine, specialising in the care of older people. Eashing has achieved the Quality Mark for Elder-friendly hospital wards.
Eashing offers quality patient centred care by committed professionals. There are twelve beds that are specifically dedicated to patients with Dementia called 'Forget me not' bays. These provide effective individualised care where staff and the environment are considerate of these special needs. The multi-disciplinary team is very proactive and passionate about improving patient experience through different creative projects and initiatives.
Normal visiting times have changed due to Covid-19. You may arrange a visit by contacting the ward and booking an appointment. The ward will complete a risk assessment for each visitor.
Visiting times are 2pm-8pm, Monday-Sunday.
East Wing, Level D. When entering the hospital using the main entrance, proceed straight ahead. Continue past the reception located on the right of the foyer. Bear right and proceed down to the end of the corridor. Take the East Wing lifts to Level D. On exiting the lifts turn left where Eashing Ward is located.
