Call a Midwife is a designated telephone advice and triage line available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, for people who are 14 weeks or more pregnant.  You can talk to a local midwife at any time about your pregnancy, labour or in the first 28 days after your baby is born. No question or concern is too small.

Our midwives will assess your needs, give advice and arrange the right care and support for you and your baby.

Early pregnancy concerns (up to 13 weeks and six days)

The Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) provides care for pregnant women/people up to 13 weeks and six days pregnant. Visit the EPAU service page for advice about pain or vaginal bleeding in early pregnancy and information on how to access the EPAU service.
