Congratulations to all our nurses receiving preceptorship awards

Newly registered nursing staff have been celebrating the completion of their preceptorship, collecting their well-earned certificates and badges.

Receiving certificates from Tamsin Enticknap-Green, Deputy Director of Nursing and Multidisciplinary Education, in an awards ceremony on 24 May, their achievements were celebrated and congratulations were given for their hard work and commitment. The preceptorship programme has supported their transition from student, or internationally educated nurse, to confident, competent and autonomous practitioner.

Nurses and Midwives were commended on this achievement particularly at a time when the Trust was still impacted by the global pandemic and when many of them were also adapting to a new culture.

Alison Oram, Preceptorship Lead, said:

“A huge number of nurses and midwives have completed their preceptorship over the last few months and we couldn’t be prouder. Today’s awards are all about celebrating their achievement which is reflected in the exceptional care they deliver across the Trust.”
