Mental health information

We recognise the importance of looking after someone’s physical and emotional well-being, and the impact that medical conditions can have on a person’s mental health.

The trust works closely with Surrey and Borders Partnership Trust, who are the local mental health provider, in ensuring that mental health needs are appropriately addressed. If you are under a specialist team at the hospital they may have details of other specific support available.

If you are concerned about your mental health and wellbeing the first point of contact would usually be your GP. For more information on local services please see below.

  • Provide services such as counselling, mindfulness and cognitive behaviour therapies and accept self referrals and are provided free on the NHS.
  • Read more about mental health therapies (Please note that you cannot access this service without a Surrey GP).
