Welcome to the NIHR Royal Surrey CRF

The NIHR Royal Surrey Clinical Research Facility (CRF) delivers early phase clinical research in Guildford. A joint venture between the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Surrey, we are one of 28 National Institute of Health and Care Research CRFs in the UK and a key part of the UK's clinical research infrastructure.

Located on the University of Surrey campus, a short walk from Royal Surrey County Hospital, our team works closely with researchers from both institutions, as well as industry partners to deliver the highest quality translational and experimental research, including first-in-human trials.
