We have residential accommodation on site which may be available for staff in training, on-call, moving into the area and in certain other circumstances. Staff car parking is available on the hospital site, but space is currently limited. More information is available from the Human Resources Department.

Nursery - Caring Daycare Nursery is a privately run nursery offering up to 39 places to children up to the age of five. The nursery is located at The Royal Surrey County Hospital.

Childcare vouchers – Staff can apply for tax free Busy Bees corporate childcare vouchers, worth up to £243 per month.  The vouchers can be used for all types of childcare and helps to reduce the cost of your childcare by 10%.   

Counselling is available to all Trust employees. It is a free, confidential service and the issues do not need to be work-related. Counselling is an opportunity to share and explore issues in a totally confidential way with trained counsellors.

The Occupational Health Department provides pre-employment health screening, medical examinations, health supervision, immunisation records, environmental assessment and counselling services. All enquiries are treated with the strictest confidence.

Membership of the very attractive NHS Pension Scheme is offered to all NHS employees aged 16-70 (65 for membership of the special classes) on a voluntary basis.

A fully equipped gym is available for staff use.

The Royal Surrey Restaurant – Spice of Life - is located within the main hospital building and is open to both staff and visitors. Staff receive a discount on meals at the restaurant.
 
Ritazza coffee run a sandwich and coffee bar in the main reception area and next door there is a shop selling some food, drink, newspapers and magazines.  

The club promotes and provides social activities for staff and is located just over the road from the main Royal Surrey site. Membership is open to all employees of Guildford hospitals and health care establishments.
