Adult community health services play a key role supporting and caring for patients in the community, maintaining their health and preventing unnecessary hospital admissions.
In this online session, taking place on 7 October 5pm – 6pm, you will hear about two of our vital community services, supporting two very different patient groups - expectant and new mothers and those with respiratory conditions.
Join Deputy Director of Midwifery and Nursing for Women and Children, Amy Stubbs to hear how maternity hub teams have ramped up services to provide holistic care to women in the community and how midwives and breast feeding clinics play a crucial part in the patient journey.
Sarah Pearce, Integrated Respiratory Nurse Lead will then share how integrated respiratory teams have adapted and improved their services to support high risk patients with complex respiratory problems during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Do you want to support your local NHS through difficult times? We are looking for people to become members of our Trust.
We share regular updates with our members and seek their views on key issues, services and new ideas. This means that our members have a say in our future and can shape how services are provided and developed.
If you would like to become part of our Royal Surrey Family then please visit our becoming a member page here, or call us on 01483571122 and ask for Membership Services.
