Being a Governor can be very rewarding and interesting. Governors play a vital role in shaping the future direction of the Trust and the services provided to local communities.
Governors represent the interests of the Trust’s membership (which includes staff, patients and local residents) and the wider public. Governors hold the Trust’s Board of Directors to account. Becoming a Governor is a good way to build your knowledge about what is going on in the Trust and the wider NHS.
