RSCH (Royal Surrey County Hospital) Pharmacy Ltd was established in 2014, as a subsidiary of the Trust, to provide Outpatient Pharmacy services (only).
We expanded in 2018 to provide Outpatient Pharmacy Oncology services, and various outreach clinics. In 2020, we created a Drive-by Pharmacy Collection Hub and Delivery Service in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Prescription and medication services
We dispense Royal Surrey County Hospital prescription templates only. These are the blue A4 sized prescriptions provided by the various Outpatient Departments of the hospital during patient visits. We cannot dispense FP10s (green or white smaller prescriptions) or any other community prescription.
We also dispense private prescriptions, and provide a small range of over-the-counter medication for purchase.
Medications can be collected from the Pharmacy Drive-By Collection Hub at your convenience – with no parking and no waiting inside in the hospital.
If you prefer not to wait, you can leave your telephone number and we will ring you when your prescription is ready to collect.
We understand the value of speaking to a healthcare professional face-to-face, and our Pharmacists and Technical staff are happy to provide free advice and medical counselling for every patient.
Free delivery is available Monday-Friday *where the patient meets appropriate criteria
You can return all unwanted medications to the Outpatient Pharmacy, where we will dispose of them safely.
We are open Monday-Friday, 9am - 5:45pm only.
We do not provide any out of hours / on-call services.
What are we doing to keep you safe?
We have opened a Drive-by Collection service so our patients do not have to enter the hospital to collect their medications. The Collection hub has increased infection control measures such as protective screens and regular cleaning.
Our Pharmacists and Dispensary staff are wearing PPE at all times and maintain excellent infection control and hand hygiene.
We now also have a Delivery Service, so our most vulnerable patients are able to receive their medication while self-isolating.
If you have any queries about how we are keeping you safe, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
