This month, Trust Chair Sue Sjuve will be taking over the role of Wellbeing Guardian from Louise Hall, Director of HR, in line with NHS guidelines recommending the role sits with a non-executive director.

Sue praised Louise’s dedication to the role and thanked her for her contributions to promoting staff wellbeing.

She said: “As a Wellbeing Guardian I’m aiming to build on the culture of wellbeing which has been established so successfully by Louise. I will be fulfilling an assurance role that the executive team are doing the right thing and placing staff health and wellbeing at the heart of what we do.

“Looking after the resilience and wellbeing of staff is very much a Trust priority and I’m dedicated to making sure that we do everything we reasonably can to support our staff so they deliver excellent patient care but also enjoy coming to work here.”
