When you reach between 16 and 20 weeks into your pregnancy, you will normally start to feel some movement. This could be a flutter, kick, roll or swish.
Around the 32 week mark the frequency of the movement tends to increase, but there is no specific amount of actvity that is considered normal.
The closer you get to your delivery date, you may notice your baby start moving in a different way.You should continue to feel your baby move up to and during labour.
If you notice your baby moving less than usual, or if you’ve noticed a change in the pattern of movements, you should contact your midwife or the maternity unit immediately.
