The Executive Directors are chaired by the CEO and comprises other senior management appointed by the Board. The Executive Directors meet regularly to address matters concerning the Trust, including matters on strategy and operational management, as well as any issues regarding staff or patients.
The Executive Directors regularly speak with patients and staff, listening to their views, ideas and concerns.
Tom is our Director of HR and Organisational Development. He joined the Trust in January 2019 as Deputy Director of HR, having previously worked at Frimley Health, University College London Hospitals and Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals NHS Trusts. He has over 17 years’ experience in HR and has worked in a variety of roles from strategic workforce planning, recruitment, temporary staffing and organisational development. Tom was a key member of a senior HR management team which was awarded the overall prize at the 2016 CIPD People Management Awards for successful delivery for an 'outstanding employee engagement initiative'.
Tom is committed to enhancing health and wellbeing interventions for staff, looking at ways to improve recruitment, and promoting the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion agenda. Tom also has a keen interest in developing systems and processes within HR to improve the end-user experience for managers and staff.
