A free event to support those living with or suffering from diabetes is being held later this month.
A series of diabetes experts will be sharing their thoughts and advice at the event at Royal Surrey County Hospital.
It is the first in this year’s series of health events.
Guest speakers will include Dr Agnieszka Falinska, Consultant in Diabetes, Endocrinology and acute Medicine at Royal Surrey, Dr Debbie Cooke, Senior Lecturer at the University of Surrey School of Health Services and Mr Roy Johnson, Chairman of the Guildford and South West Surrey Group of Diabetes UK.
The talks will look at how diabetes affects people, treatment options and future advances in care.
If you have recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes or are at risk of developing the condition or care for someone with type 2 diabetes, this event will be of interest to you.
This free event will be held on Tuesday 30 April in the hospital’s Education Centre (see map for location). Registration and refreshments will be available from 5pm, with the presentations starting at 5.30pm. The event will finish at 8pm. Advance booking is required.
