We recently announced that we will be investing £9 million pounds into our Adult Community Health Services across Guildford & Waverley over the next five years.

This includes exciting new roles with options to further develop your skills and career for:

  • Nurses
  • Healthcare Assistants
  • Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Rehab Assistants
  • Physiotherapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Speech and Language Therapists
  • District Nurses    

Our community sites are based in Milford, Haslemere and Cranleigh and offer you a chance to work closer to home with a friendly and multi-disciplinary team, whilst still working closely with colleagues in the acute hospital and specialist cancer centre.

Our Adult Community Health Services span Inpatients, Outpatients, Emergency Care – in our Minor Injuries Unit at Haslemere Hospital, Rapid Response/Home First and District Nursing visiting and helping patients in their own home.

Gemma Frame, a District Nurse whose nursing qualification was funded by Royal Surrey, said: ‘I moved to District Nursing after working for a few years in an Acute Hospital. It was a brilliant decision and I have never looked back. I love my job and feel lucky to make a difference to patients every single day.’
