• In February 2016, the Lord Carter of Coles review “Operational productivity and performance in English NHS acute hospitals: Unwarranted variations” was published. A key requirement of Lord Carter’s report was that all Trusts are required to submit a board approved hospital pharmacy transformation programme (HPTP) plan to NHS Improvement by April 2017. Could you please provide a copy of the Trust’s hospital pharmacy transformation programme (HPTP) plan. If this is not available, please provide a date when it will be published?

Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust will be following the NHSE derived schedule attached.

  • For Trigger 1 of the Hospital Medicine Optimisation CQUIN (Section 10 C5 from the document https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016…,) Trusts are required each month to produce a report for benchmarking, evaluating and reporting against the Triggers. Can you please provide all reports produced by your Trust since April 2017. Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust only agreed to participate in the MO CQUIN mid-year, therefore only 1 report has been produced to date.  Attached.
