Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is planning to open an additional 12 beds to support additional demand this winter.

The Trust will be employing the equivalent of 18.34 wte staff to staff the additional beds. In addition, there are a number of additional medical and clinical support services shifts being worked during peak periods – all outlined in the Trust Winter plan which is available on the Trust website.

The Trust is forecasting to spend £616k on additional measure to support looking after our patients over the winter period.
