ICU and Recovery Research Team
I currently work for the SPACeR research group, setting up and managing Clinical trials and research studies in Critical Care (ICU) and Anaethestics at Royal Surrey. I previously worked as a Clinical Trial Practitioner at St George’s Medical School, Dept of clinical Neuroscience and the Stroke Research Network as well as a research assistant for a Cetacean biologist and in public health consultancy for the Dept of Health.
Armorel qualified as a Staff Nurse in 2006. Since then has worked in Gynaecology, Tropical and Infectious Disease and ICU. Armorel joined the ICU research team in August 2017 as she is passionate about advancing clinical practice through research within the ICU setting. Armorel was published in the Journal of Nursing Ethics in 2007, and is looking forward to participating in future studies and trials.
Sheena has recently joined the research department and has two roles – as an Oncology Research Nurse based at the University of Surrey and as part of the ICU and Recovery research team. She was a Senior Analyst for fortune global companies before practicing nursing and has worked in ENT and EAU since then. Sheena received the Best Academic Performance Award for her ONP Adaptation with City, University of London. She is excited to start with the Phase 1 trial and participate in other studies.
Sinduja is a Research Assistant in the ICU at The Royal Surrey County Hospital. She is currently working on PQIP, Dreamy, oncology studies and ophthalmology studies. She has worked with the research team at Kingston Hospital, whilst undertaking her final year project on skin cancer.
