Safe Delivery Trust Fund

The purpose of the Safe Delivery Trust Fund is to continually improve care for mothers and babies. This includes providing medical equipment, updating existing facilities and to support our professionals to stay up to date with the latest initiatives and technology.  

Approximately 3500 women and their families are cared for every year by the team of midwives, obstetricians and maternity support workers. Donations will ensure we can continue to deliver the high standard of midwifery and medical care that the Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is famous for.

Their ongoing needs are:

Intravenous Drip Pumps

Baby Heart Monitors

Birth Mats and Balls

Support for maternity staff with specialist training courses

Relaxation aids for during labour - music, massage oils

Antenatal Education equipment e.g. models of the pelvis, educational posters etc

Improved facilities for mums and families who are waiting or visiting
