We have a large talent pool called ‘the staff bank’ which operates across many work areas made up of people who cover maternity leave and temporary vacancies.
Why join our temporary workforce?
There are many benefits to joining our staff bank. You will gain additional experience, keep your skills up to date, develop new ones and earn extra money.
You may want to:
- gradually return to work after a break
- try a different specialty or area
- work for us without committing to a permanent post
- work in an area where there aren’t currently any vacancies.
You will also get opportunities to apply for vacancies as an internal candidate, training opportunities, NHS discounts, and you may be able to join the NHS pension scheme and our social club.
We use a system called ‘Employee On-line’ to publicise our available shifts, so that our temporary workers can schedule themselves upon their preferred shifts. We also uses SMS messaging to send information about available shifts, changes in timesheet cut-off dates and other important information.
It’s also really easy to join.
