Situated a stone’s throw away from the historic town of Guildford, the Royal Surrey County Hospital is located in the leafy county of Surrey within easy access from Heathrow Airport and major roads including the M25 and A3.
We provide a range of specialist Private Patient services; with a particular focus on cancer care which is delivered at our nationally renowned ‘St Luke’s Cancer Centre.’
Our clinicians have extensive experience in treating cancers across a diverse range of tumour groups; serving a catchment population of 2 million across Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire. The Cancer Centre has strong academic and research links with the University of Surrey, and we are involved in a large portfolio of clinical trials to ensure we remain at the forefront of clinical research.
The hospital is home to Europe’s largest Brachytherapy Centre; and is the only Papillon therapy provider in the South of England. We have 7 state of the art Linear Accelerators for radiotherapy treatment; all of which are capable of IGRT and IMRT, and 5 of which are capable of rotational imaging and VMAT treatment. As part of our capital programme, we have just invested in upgrading our robotic surgical system so that we can continue to revolutionise the way cancer surgery is performed robotically.
We welcome insured policy holders and private self-funders. Please contact the Private Patients Office to find out more about our services and the options available to you.
