Oncology Research Team A

Sarah is the Lead Nurse on gynaecological studies and assists with the lung studies. She has been working in oncology for the past 15 years, joining the research team at the Royal Surrey County Hospital 7 years ago. She has a vast oncology experience; working on a day unit and a sub-acute oncology unit for the 8 years of her career.

Helen has worked in research for over 2 years, after moving from Chilworth Day Unit.  She is the lead research nurse for lung cancer as well as assisting in palliative care studies.  She has over 18 years nursing experience with 10 years oncology experience and is trained to administer chemotherapy. She’s worked at the Royal Surrey County Hospital for 15 years and is studying for her Masters in Advancing Healthcare Practice.

Sue works closely with the Research, Development and Innovations Department with regard to study set-up and amendments. She is also responsible for site file maintenance from  study set-up through until study closure. She was Senior Data Manager prior to the administrator role and has worked in the team for 12 years.

Sibylle is responsible for entering data and query resolution for both Commercial and NIHR studies. She has worked in research for 11 years covering several disease sites. Currently she is specialising in lung studies but also supports with gynaecological studies.
