Royal Surrey County Hospital Snow Up Date

Director of Nursing and Operations Sue Lewis said:

"Following yesterday's cancellation of outpatients clinics, we have now decided to try and run as many clinics as possible this afternoon.  Can patients with appointments please try not to call in to check if their appointment is on as we do not have enough resources to cope with the volume of calls.  If patients can get to the hospital for their appointments we will do our best to ensure they are seen.

"I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our patients and the public for their co-operation and help during yesterday's severe weather as this did help us to manage the situation.

"We are very grateful to the army who are supplying 50 soldiers to help us clear the car parks of snow today.

"We will be running the hospital as normal tomorrow."
