Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to welcome Professor Nicholas Lemoine as a non-executive director from March 1, 2018.
With a clinical background and extensive experience working within academia and senior research, Nicholas will bring with him a wealth of experience. He is currently director of Bart’s Cancer Institute and Cancer Research UK Centre, based in London.
Nicholas is also currently Director of Research & Development for Cancer and Surgery at Bart’s Health NHS Trust and Nicholas is looking forward to bringing his expertise to a trust outside of London and furthering Royal Surrey’s research functions and academic aspirations.
Royal Surrey’s Chair, Sue Sjuve, is looking forward to working with Nicholas and said, “I am delighted to have Professor Nicholas Lemoine on board as a non-executive director.
“I look forward to working with him and the other Board members to ensure the Royal Surrey continues to deliver excellent care and services.”
The Trust’s lead governor, Dr Jan Whitby, said: “Following a rigorous recruitment process we are delighted to welcome Professor Nicholas Lemoine as our new clinical non-executive director.
“We are confident he will make an excellent addition to the Board.”
