Our Orthopaedic Practitioners do clinics with Mr Coates – Orthopaedic Consultant. The clinics include hip screening for babies and the management of babies born with developmental dysplasia of the hips (DDH) and a Ponseti clinic for the children born with clubfeet (structural talipes).
In outpatients we treat children with a wide range of paediatric conditions; Juvenile arthritis, Perthes disease, musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation following trauma/fractures. We treat babies with feet and neck problems.
We have very good links with the community therapy teams who treat children with ongoing physiotherapy needs.
