New Non-Executive Director appointed

Haslemere resident John Denning has been appointed to the Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Trust Board for a four year term from 1st October 2008 to 30th September 2012.

Chairman Alan Howarth said:

"John has many years experience of working with large organisations and is keen to apply that knowledge in his role as an NHS Non-executive director."

He now runs a licensed retailing consultancy business, and sits as a magistrate on the North East Hampshire bench.

Commenting on his new role John Denning said:

"I have a great deal of commercial experience which, given the increasingly competitive nature of the NHS, will benefit such a large organisation.  I am also keen to utilise my knowledge of customer service in this role."
