Royal Surrey County Hospital is hosting a free health event focusing on all things maternity.

Maternity Matters will cover home birth, midwife led active birth, hypnobirthing, antenatal education, breastfeeding and much more.

The event will take place between 2pm and 4pm at Surrey Sports Park on Wednesday, July 20.

Head of Midwifery, Jacqui Tingle said: “Here at Royal Surrey our highly skilled team is proud to welcome more than 3,500 babies every year.

“Maternity Matters is a free event that will guide you through the exciting journey ahead and will highlight the services we offer at Royal Surrey.

“My team understands that no two pregnancies and births are the same and as well as hearing from them, you will also have the opportunity to pose your questions to the experts.”

For more information about Maternity Matters or to register your interest in attending please email or call 01483 408337.

Parking at the Sports Park is free and refreshments will be available.

This is the third in a series of free health events run by the Trust and kindly sponsored by Surrey Sports Park.
