If you feel ill or have consulted a doctor with a specific problem, you may go on the internet for more information.  We encourage patients to read about their diagnoses. Unfortunately the internet contains as least as much bad information as it does good.  Some of it can be very upsetting and misleading.

We have constructed a basic list of sites that we trust to give you good, reliable information about diabetes and endocrinology. It is not exhaustive but we hope you will find it a good place to start.  If you are concerned by anything you read, please talk to your doctor or nurse about it.

We are also going to develop an information section that contains advice produced by the Cedar team or other departments in the Royal Surrey. We will be adding to this over the coming months.
