Plastic Surgery Services are offered by Mr Barry Powell and Mr Mumtaz Hussain.

The Plastic Surgery Team covers all aspects of Plastic Surgery at the Royal Surrey County Hospital and associated Hospitals.

The main interest of the Team is skin malignancy.  The Plastic Surgeons offer a full model of care for patients with malignant melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer.
The Team also offers mole checks as well as assessing other skin lesions which are causing physical problems or concerns.

We also look after difficult wound care, breast surgery of all aspects, Paediatric skin lesions and hand management problems.  

Clinics

The Clinics are held weekly (Wednesday am). 

Local Anaesthetic lists are held weekly at Haslemere Hospital.

80% of the work undertaken is dealt with locally, but some aspects of the work will be transferred to the Regional Plastic Surgery Unit at St George’s Hospital, London.

Ward visits are offered weekly.

Patients also visited in Godwin Unit, Haslemere Hospital and  Milford Hospital on request
