Overseas visitors office

We are pleased to tell you that our overseas visitors office is very busy and we have good communication with many GP surgeries and community practitioners. 

Although the Department of Health Guidelines on free NHS treatment to overseas visitors is slightly different for primary care than secondary care, we have found that by communication and discussion, the guidelines have become clearer.

If you are not sure whether a patient qualifies for free NHS care or should be treated as a private patient, then please do not hesitate to contact Lyn Fernandez, Overseas Business Manager, who will be happy to help you.
