We have an ever growing group of Oesophago-gastric Cancer Surgery patients striving to give patient to patient and carer to carer support. They provide information, encouragement and general tips drawn from their experiences, for all patients, partners, carers and families before, during and after surgery. 

Patients and partners, who know what you are going through, are available to chat with you and your family before the surgery.  They can help with any queries or worries you may have and answers your questions from first hand experience.

The group meets on a regular basis in a conference room at The Holiday Inn in Guildford with refreshments available .These are run as informal meetings with plenty of time for discussion.   Partners and other family members are all welcome.

Members of the specialist team, such as Dietitians, Specialist Nurses, Physiotherapists and Surgeons are often available at the meetings for a question and answer session which has proved to be very helpful for everyone.
