Choosing Where to Have Your Baby

Choosing Where to Have Your Baby

In line with the ‘Maternity Matters' report (2007), we aim to promote pregnancy and childbirth as normal, and are concerned with improving access, increasing continuity of midwifery care and support, and enabling all women and their families to make informed choices about what care they want, delivered where they want and how they want.

"All women need a midwife, some may need a doctor too".....,
Sheila Shribman, ‘Making it Better for Mother and Baby', DOH, 2007
