The Royal Surrey County Hospital is a leading and innovative hospital based in the heart of Surrey.

The Royal Surrey is packed with ambition and is an excellent place to either start your career, move it up a gear or to continue developing yourself professionally - whether you are a nurse, doctor or any of the multitude of professionals that keep our hospital running.

It is not all white coats either.  The modern NHS is a thriving, commercial organisation providing great careers across all business specialties too.

The Royal Surrey County Hospital is a large, modern hospital situated on the outskirts of Guildford.  It serves a population of 320,000 for district general hospital services and is a tertiary specialist centre for ENT and Maxillofacial surgery and regional cancer centre for Surrey and parts of West Sussex and Hampshire.  We also attract referrals from across the country for some specialties including urology and our Minimal Access Therapy Training Unit (key-hole surgery) is one of only three such training units in the UK.

There are many opportunities on offer to staff joining the Royal Surrey and exciting times lie ahead with our new NHS Foundation Trust status and our major change programme called Patients First.

Post-qualification support and training is provided at the hospital's own Education Centre and we have strong links with the nearby University of Surrey.
