The Education Centre

The Royal Surrey County Hospital Foundation Trust Education Centre is a productive and efficient educational environment servicing the needs of all our staff development, including the wider requirements of the national bodies of the Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board ( PMETB), the GMC and our local GP’s and Dentists.

This multi –disciplinary education facility takes in excess of 3,000 bookings each year. It is the primary location for local and national resuscitation courses delivered by the Resuscitation Training Team. The Centre also accommodates the Library and Information Service which is open to all primary and acute staff working in South West Surrey.

The centre offers a 197 seat tiered lecture theatre, along with 7 others conference training rooms, of varying sizes. We have the capacity to manage large conferences. Early booking is highly recommended. Refreshments are also available to order via our in-house catering team. We also have a state of the art Simulation and Communication Suites on site.

The Centre upholds the Trust’s core values and behaviours and endeavours to maximise staff usage whilst meeting the strategic and operational objectives. The Centre offers a high quality customer service approach by supporting events and building strong working relationships.

The Centre is managed by the Trust under the Learning and Development Team.
