Anne Milton thanks staff for their hard work

Guildford and Cranliegh MP Anne Milton visited the Royal Surrey on Christmas Eve to thank staff for their hard work and wish patients a Merry Christmas.

The Minister for Public Health visited the maternity ward to meet new mums and babies, speak with patients on the oncology and elderly care wards. She also visited the A&E department.

She said "2010 has had its challenges for us all, but the Royal Surrey continues to support so many people so well. The services provided are second to none and that's down to the incredibly dedicated and hard working staff."
