The Midwifery Listening Service offers an opportunity for women to discuss their birth experience, ask any questions they have and read their notes.
Self-referral and GP referrals are accepted by telephoning 01483 306137
Appointments can be arranged to be held at either the home or the hospital.
There is no time limit to use the service and most women who use the service find it helpful, particularly those who have had a traumatic birth. Some women choose to access the service after subsequent pregnancies.
It is not an appropriate forum for complaints and these should be referred to the midwifery matrons in the usual way.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us via Delivery Suite.
